So here it is, a card from the stamp set that got me hooked on Fun Stamper’s Journey! Sea Side Treasures! I love, love, love the crisp clear images that their stamps produce. Top quality and at a great price, too!
For this card I layered my base cardstock and then stamped the images on a white cut it in half and then thirds. To make that part easy, I just folded it in half along the long edge and the cut each strip into 3 pieces (1.5″ each), put it together like a puzzle and just spread it out a bit so there’s a little less than 1/4″ in between the pieces. The I used adhesive foam squares to attach the “thank you” and the shells. Super quick, easy and fun.

I’m often asked how to get started stamping without buying all of the colors and card stock at once. It’s easy! Just pick a color and one or two stamp sets you love and start with monochromatic cards. That’s right, stampin with one color on a neutral card stock gives a great look! And the Express Yourself stamp set is one you will find yourself using over and over again.
Here it is combined with Calypso Coral and Blooming with Kindness:
That’s right, it’s the second Sunday of the month and that means… it’s another RemARKable blog tour! This month, I started thinking about the cool colors of fall and chose the Magnificent Maple stamp (131868) and the Sweater Weather Designer Series Paper (132184) for my creations!
I used a 5×8 note pad and cut Sweater Weather Designer Series Paper to fit the top. For my notepad it was 5″x 3.5″. I secured with sticky tape, then stamped the Magnificent Maple leaf in chocolate chip ink on a variety of the Sweater Weather DSP, cut out the leaves and arranged with some natural ribbon!
I also love this stamp for a simple card. It’s great when you are just starting to build your collection of ink and paper! Here’s a fun 3×3 thank you note with a coordinating envelope. To create it, take a 3×6 piece of whisper white card stock, fold in half. Use Sahara Sand, Crushed Curry and Tangerine Tango markers and color directly on the Magnificent Maple stamp. Stamp on the card, then stamp Thank You from the Lacey and Lovely set in Tangerine tango and that’s it!
The envelope was created using our new envelope punch and the Sweater Weather DSP.
And now you are in for a real treat when you visit my good friend, Pam Staples at http://www.sunnygirlscraps.com .
